About Me

I’m Ra Vashtar, an artist exploring the world through mixed media artwork, sculpture, and writing. Monsters are important symbols to me, able to capture my experiences, environments, and even my hopes for the future. My greatest hope for my work is that I can share a feeling of wonder, a connection and perspective on important ideas, or even a monster friend that can provide a sense of understanding and reduction of loneliness. I feel truly honored every time my work can improve a person’s life.
